It was hot, hot, hot here in Washington, I had to break out the shorts and the fedora. This tank has the surprise button back which is perfect for a hot day. I added this color block bag to bring in the pop of color. These Valentino rock stud jelly flip flops are one of my favorites. They go great with a dress or a simple jeans shorts look such as this one. I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend.

The week seems to have flown by. It has been pretty busy for me, just got through planning my trip to Disneyland! I'm pretty excited to be going back for Christmas. Yes we still have awhile to book but the hotels were booking up fast. well now for the outfit I'm wearing. This pencil skirt with the peplum hem is one of my favorites. It is so feminine and adds the perfect touch to the outfit. I couldn't resist these red lace up heels, the pop of color I was looking for. The outfit is a great twist on the classic pencil skirt and tucked in top. The mesh on the top, peplum on the skirt, and the lace up heels makes it on trend but the comfy classic look at the same time. What do you guys think of the peplum pencil skirt?

We have cooled down here in Seattle but I decided to keep it hot in this plunging v-neck playsuit. I couldn't resist this cobalt blue color. The color-block heels I have had for a while and they seemed to be the perfect match to contrast the color in the playsuit. I am a huge fan of coral still and couldn't help myself when buying this handbag.
