Valentines day is just a few days away! I can't believe how the time flew. I didn't get a chance to post any looks this year on the blog. You can check out my Instagram for inspirations on looks if you are still looking for that perfect look.

As for this look, its been pretty cold here in Seattle and this cape from Topshop has become a staple in my wardrobe. It can be worn casually thrown over a look or belt it as I did for this look. The belt provides more structure and more of a dressy look. I added a basic turtle neck under it and my favorite pair of thigh high boots. The chunky heel provides comfort and the tie in the back adds a cute little touch. Of course with Valentine's day right around the corner I had to break out my favorite pretty pink Givenchy bag. It works great for day or night.

Winter is in full effect and I am simply in love with blanket scarfs to stay warm and cozy. I spotted this one on ASOS and couldn't resist the fringe edge and the festive colors. Striped shirts are a staple in my closet and perfect for winter layering. Plaid and stripes play off each other so well. To add to the layering effect I added one of my favorite vests by Kora Rae. If you follow my blog or Instagram you know of my love of Kora Rae designs, classic designs with a sexy flair. These beautiful monogram riding boots by Marleylilly. VIVA LAS VEGAS

Happy New Years Eve everyone!

I have teamed up with vegas.com to do the ultimate Vegas looks inspired by some great Las Vegas hotels. I wanted to share a day to night transition and was inspired by one of my favorite vegas hotels The Palazzo. It shares an inside space with The Venetian which also a great hotel that has the beautiful indoor mall you see in the picture above. All the best shopping under the picture perfect blue sky. Vegas is one of my favorite go to spots for a weekend away or an extended trip. It is a place of glamour where dressing to the nines is an everyday thing. I love any excuse to dress up. For my day look I went for one of my favorites, leather. I love the chic look but also the ability to dress it up or dress it down. It gets a little chilly in Las Vegas during the winter months so I added this jacket not only for warmth but for a contrast to my all black look. Of course I had to add my favorite Givenchy bag and almost matching bow heels, my go to heels.

Las Vegas by by night has so many beautiful places. One of my favorite is TAO, a fabulous restaurant by day an fun nightclub by night. This dress is such an easy dress with its pull on design but the added pop of sequins and cutouts. Im excited to share more from my last collaboration with Black Sheep Leggings. I spotted these on the website and had to have them. They have so many beautiful options but the design on this was perfect for fall/winter; plus the colors are so bright and colorful. The fabric is super soft and comfy which can't be beat.
