WARBY PARKER SUNNIES

Happy Sunday everyone!
Warby Parker is officially at Nordstroms in the Seattle, WA and Bellevue, WA locations. It is a pop-in location and only there until September 6th.  I decided to check it out and was beyond impressed with their service and products. The sunglasses were in a wide variety of colors, patterns, and sizes. They even were labeled narrow, medium, and wide to find the perfect fit. It really helps narrow down the choices if you are looking for a particular fit or just a frame width. The service was excellent with more than enough staff to provide proper attention and information on the products. When I decided on a pair of sunnies with careful selection of the staff they were able to fit them to my face. I was really impressed with this option. A good portion of the time I spent hundreds of dollars on a pair of sunnies that are designer but really not a good fit for my face. These were fit for me and provided in a hard case box with a travel bag inside that can be doubled as a way to clean the lenses. They have a limited release just for this special event, the 'Banks' in crystal sun. These are the beautiful clear framed sunnies above with the pink lenses, these are a must see. On top of the great service, exceptional quality, and options the sunglasses are also extremely reasonably priced. They start at a low $95 price for the sunglasses and the glasses. They have a wide variety of glasses and will simply take your prescription and have then sent out for lens fitting. The best part for every pair sold a pair will be distributed to someone in need through the companies non-profit partners. Below are the two pair of sunnies I got. I fell in love with these sunnies 'Raglan' in jet black and my husband was so happy with the service and quality he got his own pair sunnies 'Ormsby' in english oak. Check them out for your fitting today.

Thanks so much for stopping by everyone!

Happy thursday everyone!

I simply fell in love with these fringe heels and the unique ankle tie design. They don't just look chic but they are comfy. I wanted to go with a relaxed look and added these destroyed denim jeans, they are great on a hot day. One of my favorite go to bags is Rebecca Minkoff, great for a day out or an evening out. Finally this vest, which have been all the trend just seemed to be the perfect finishing touch, adds a little dressy look to the destroyed jeans and crop top.

BARLEY PINK

Photos by Eli W

Halston Heritage structured faille dress / Schutz Juliana caged sandals / BaubleBar porthole layered collar necklace / clutch (sold out) love this white clutch

Happy thursday everyone!
If you read my last post you heard about my colaboration with Paul Fredrick for men's wedding fashion. I detailed how a guy can create a complimentary look. Now I want to share my look with you. I got this fit and flare dress in this barley pink color. I fell in love with with forgiving fit of it. Fit and flare has a way of creating that hourglass look and is pretty flattering on most body types. The wedding I attended was on a boat so instead of going for the traditional long maxi dress I wanted to go for something a little less expected. This dress does have some weight to it so being on a boat was no issue. I paired it with these stunning Schutz caged heels. I just fell in love with the nude color and the intricate pattern of them. They are really comfortable on top of it all. The necklace just happened to already be in my closet and the cut of the necklace is a perfect match for the dresses neckline. Weddings are such a fun event to get dressed up for.

SUMMER WEDDING LOOKS

Happy Friday everyone!
Wedding season is here and finding that perfect dress is only half of the battle. My husband has the usual dilemma, what to wear? Its always nice if you go to a wedding with your significant other to somewhat compliment each others looks. We recently had my husband's brother and sister in laws wedding to attend, it happened to be on a boat in South Lake Union. We decided to go boat themed but then we thought how could we dress that wouldn't be too matchy but would compliment each other.

We discovered Paul Fredrick website, a great place for men's dress clothes with a wide variety of options. My husband just fell in love with the Paul Fredrick line of dress shirts. We both love the added detailing on them, from the pop of color on the inside cuff to the multiple pattern options. They have everything from french cuff to the no iron shirts. They also have a feature called the custom dress shirt, that gives you the option to pick and choose your favorites to create the perfect shirt for the event and your personal style.

We started with my look, I decided to go with a barely pink dress from Halston Heritage. My husband is a big fan of two patterns together which adds the perfect flare to any dress look. We started with a basic pair of pinstripe pants and a white vest, he wanted some added pattern so we did polka dots. The polka dots are a vary faint color and a complimentary color to the pinstripe. For the finishing touch we added the wood tie tack and anchor patterned handkerchief to really pull together a theme.

Here is some more looks below to help give ideas on complimenting each other looks with colors and non-conflicting patterns.

Tips for complimentary couples looks:
A man can never go wrong with a dress shirt that compliments his dates dress or pattern
A vest is a great way for a man to be dressed up and skip the blazer or these hot summer days
A tie can be a great way to pull your whole look together and add that much needed touch
A fun dress shoe can bring to life a very basic suit or the added flare
Handkerchief are much underrated and can be a perfect way to add a theme to any look
Cuff links can also be used to bring out an accent color in his dates look
Patterns- don't be afraid to mix as long as they are complimentary colors

Thanks for stopping by and make sure to check out Paul Fredrick's new catalog for great looks!

Happy Wednesday everyone!
I feel in love with these patchwork jeans at first site. They are so stretchy and comfy, I am sold on Frame denim. I wanted to add a shirt that complimented the jeans and I couldn't pass up on this baby blue button down top. It has a nautical vibe and perfect for summer with the roll up sleeves. To add a color contrast I added the nude handbag.

WHITE HOT - KORA RAE RACHEL DRESS

Photos by Eli W

Beaded dress the 'Rachel' by Kora Rae (available for order now) / Champagne taste cape blazer from Nasty Gal / white ankle wrap heels 'colby' from Shoedazzle / ASOS nude clutch (sold out) love this clutch / Essie 'mint candy apple' nails (looks just like Tiffany blue) /

Happy wednesday everyone!
I am so excited to share this amazing dress from Kora Rae. The designer, Rachel Turzer, got me this dress on a preorder back in march and I am beyond excited to get to finally share it with you. It is now up for sale on the Kora Rae as of a few days ago. The beading is simply amazing, attention to every detail was taken. The back zipper even has a unique curve design in order to follow the seam on the back of the dress and not to disrupt the pattern. I also am in love with the little extra length provided in the back. It follow that chic and sexy look I try to strive to find. I added this little cape blazer for an extra flair and it also still allows the dress to be showcased. This look is perfect for a romantic date night or loss the blazer for a hot night on the town, makes me think Miami.
